1. Overview
Course Miracles ("we," "us," "our") provides educational programming courses to students in Spain and internationally. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions, procedures, and timelines under which refunds may be requested and processed for our educational services.
We are committed to transparency and fairness in all refund matters. This policy complies with Spanish consumer protection laws, European Union regulations, and the advertising policies of platforms including Google Ads and Quora Ads.
2. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumer Law)
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, consumers within the European Union have the right to withdraw from distance contracts within 14 days without giving any reason. This withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day of contract conclusion (course enrollment).
2.1 Exercise of Withdrawal Right
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by making an unequivocal statement. You may use the contact information provided at the end of this policy or submit your withdrawal request through our contact form.
Your withdrawal statement should include:
- Your full name
- Enrollment email address
- Course name and enrollment date
- Clear statement of your intention to withdraw
2.2 Exception to Withdrawal Right
The right of withdrawal does not apply if you have expressly requested that the provision of digital content begin during the withdrawal period and you have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. When enrolling in our courses, you will be given the option to waive your withdrawal right to gain immediate access to course materials.
If you do not waive this right, course access will begin after the 14-day withdrawal period expires.
3. Refund Eligibility Conditions
3.1 Standard Refund Period
Beyond the EU statutory withdrawal period, students may request refunds under the following conditions:
- Within 14 Days of Enrollment: Full refund (100%) if no course materials have been accessed and the statutory withdrawal right has not been waived.
- Days 15-30 After Enrollment: Partial refund (50%) may be considered if less than 25% of course content has been accessed and progress can be documented.
- After 30 Days: Refunds are generally not provided except in exceptional circumstances as outlined in Section 3.3.
3.2 Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be provided in the following circumstances:
- More than 25% of course materials have been accessed or downloaded
- Course completion certificates have been issued
- The course has been completed
- More than 30 days have passed since enrollment (except for exceptional circumstances)
- Violation of our Terms & Conditions has occurred
- The student has shared, distributed, or otherwise misused course materials
- Technical issues on the student's end that prevent course access (we will work to resolve such issues)
3.3 Exceptional Circumstances
We may consider refunds beyond standard timelines in documented exceptional circumstances including:
- Serious illness or medical emergencies (medical documentation required)
- Bereavement (death certificate or documentation may be requested)
- Military deployment or relocation
- Technical issues on our platform preventing reasonable course access (despite our good-faith efforts to resolve)
- Course content significantly misrepresented or failing to meet described standards
Each exceptional circumstance request is evaluated individually. Documentation supporting the claim must be provided.
4. Refund Request Procedure
4.1 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:
- Send a refund request email to: [email protected]
- Include in your email:
- Full name and enrollment email address
- Course name and enrollment date
- Reason for refund request
- Original payment method and transaction details if available
- Any supporting documentation (if claiming exceptional circumstances)
- Our team will acknowledge receipt of your request within 3 business days
- We will review your request and respond with a decision within 7-10 business days
4.2 Review Process
All refund requests are reviewed individually based on:
- Time elapsed since enrollment
- Percentage of course materials accessed
- Circumstances provided for the refund request
- Supporting documentation
- Compliance with our Terms & Conditions
- Historical account activity and previous refund requests
4.3 Decision Communication
Once your refund request has been reviewed, we will communicate our decision via email to the address associated with your enrollment. If approved, we will provide:
- Confirmation of refund approval
- Refund amount (full or partial)
- Expected processing timeline
- Refund method
If your request is denied, we will provide a clear explanation of the reasons based on this policy.
5. Refund Processing
5.1 Processing Timeline
Once a refund is approved:
- Refunds are processed within 10-14 business days from approval date
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for enrollment
- Additional time may be required for your bank or payment provider to reflect the refund in your account (typically 3-10 business days)
5.2 Payment Method Considerations
Credit/Debit Card Payments: Refunds are credited to the original card used for payment. If the card has expired or been canceled, please contact your bank for assistance in receiving the refund.
PayPal Payments: Refunds are returned to the original PayPal account.
Bank Transfer Payments: Refunds are processed via bank transfer to the original account. Additional banking information may be requested to facilitate the refund.
5.3 Administrative Fees
In cases of partial refunds, a reasonable administrative fee of up to 10% of the course price may be deducted to cover processing costs and platform expenses. This fee will be clearly communicated when the refund is approved.
Administrative fees do not apply to refunds processed under the EU statutory withdrawal right within 14 days.
6. Course Access After Refund
Upon approval and processing of a refund:
- Your access to course materials will be immediately revoked
- Any downloaded materials must be deleted and may not be retained or distributed
- Completion certificates (if any were issued) are voided and must not be used
- You agree not to access, retain, copy, or distribute any course materials following refund
7. Partial Course Completions
For students who have completed a portion of a course and request a refund:
- Refund amounts are prorated based on the percentage of course content not yet accessed
- We review access logs, assignment submissions, and progress indicators to determine usage
- Partial refunds are calculated as: (Unaccessed Content Percentage × Course Price) - Administrative Fee
- Minimum refund thresholds may apply (typically no refunds if more than 75% of content has been accessed)
8. Group Enrollment and Corporate Refunds
Special refund considerations apply to group or corporate enrollments:
- Group enrollments are subject to separate agreements which may have modified refund terms
- Individual student refunds within a group enrollment must be coordinated through the group administrator
- Corporate training agreements may include customized refund provisions
- Contact our corporate training team at [email protected] for group-specific refund inquiries
9. Technical Issues and Refunds
9.1 Platform-Related Issues
If you experience technical difficulties accessing course materials due to issues with our platform:
- Contact our support team immediately at [email protected]
- We will work diligently to resolve technical issues within a reasonable timeframe
- If we cannot resolve the issue within 14 days, you may be eligible for a full refund
- Temporary platform maintenance or brief outages do not constitute grounds for refund
9.2 Student-Side Technical Issues
Technical issues on the student's side (incompatible devices, insufficient internet bandwidth, outdated software) are not grounds for refund. We provide:
- Clear technical requirements before enrollment
- Technical support to help optimize your learning environment
- Reasonable accommodations when possible
10. Course Content Changes
We reserve the right to update, modify, or improve course content to maintain quality and relevance. Content updates are not grounds for refund unless:
- The core curriculum fundamentally changes after your enrollment in a way that significantly alters the course description
- Promised features or modules are removed without suitable replacement
- Content quality substantially decreases
Minor updates, corrections, and improvements to enhance learning do not qualify for refunds.
11. Promotional and Discounted Enrollments
Courses purchased at promotional prices or with discount codes are subject to this same refund policy. Refunds for discounted enrollments are calculated based on the price actually paid, not the regular course price.
Promotional offers may include specific terms that modify refund eligibility. Such terms will be clearly disclosed at the time of purchase.
12. Free Trial and Preview Content
Where we offer free trial periods or preview content:
- Free access does not constitute enrollment and is not subject to refund policy
- Conversion from free trial to paid enrollment begins the refund eligibility periods described in this policy
- We encourage thorough evaluation of preview content before enrolling
13. Advertising Compliance
This refund policy complies with advertising standards required by:
- Google Ads Policy: We provide clear, accessible refund information to all prospective students. We do not make misleading claims about refund availability or processes.

- Spanish Consumer Law: This policy respects Spanish consumer protection regulations including Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007.
- EU Consumer Rights Directive: We fully comply with EU Directive 2011/83/EU regarding distance contracts and consumer rights.
14. Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with a refund decision:
- Contact us at [email protected] with "Refund Dispute" in the subject line
- Provide detailed explanation of your disagreement and any additional supporting information
- Our management team will conduct a secondary review within 10 business days
- You will receive a final decision in writing
14.1 Alternative Dispute Resolution
If you remain unsatisfied after our internal review process, you may pursue:
- Consumer Arbitration: Contact Spanish consumer arbitration services (Junta Arbitral de Consumo)
- European ODR Platform: EU residents can use the Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
- Legal Action: You retain all rights under Spanish and EU law to pursue legal remedies
15. Policy Modifications
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will:
- Be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date
- Not affect enrollments completed before the change (prior policy terms apply)
- Be communicated to enrolled students via email when changes substantially affect their rights
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our services after policy changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
16. No Guaranteed Results
In accordance with our commitment to honest advertising:
- We do not guarantee employment outcomes as a result of course completion
- We do not guarantee specific income levels or career advancement
- Course completion demonstrates skill development but does not ensure professional success
- Inability to achieve specific career or financial goals is not grounds for refund
Our courses provide education and skill development. Individual results vary based on prior experience, effort, practice time, and numerous factors outside our control.
